The Eagles Post Grad Team History

New York International Academy was created to be an environment for players to flourish in. It comes from the founding idea, to make this post grad basketball program an all-encompassing ELITE program. Since the Team started in 2015 the Eagles have quickly become one of the top basketball programs in the USA. In 2019 the Eagles won the USA National Prep Championship!

The Eagles have attracted recruits from all over the world including: UK, France, Italy, Norway, Denmark, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, China, Japan, Brazil, Botswana, British Virgin Islands and all over the United States.

The support in the community is growing for the Eagles and they have received a lot of attention locally from news outlets. In the 2016 season the Eagles switched their home venue to Floyd L. Maines Memorial Arena in downtown Binghamton. On January 28th, 2018 the Eagles set a new home attendance record of 750 fans.

2019 saw a change in the Eagles home venue to accommodate the high demand for more home games. This switch allowed more flexibility for the team, other teams and coaches so that additional games can be added to the schedule, in turn, making it easier for college coaches & scouts to attend home games.
