New York International Academy was created to be an environment for players to flourish in. It comes from the founding idea, to make this post  grad basketball program an all-encompassing ELITE program. Since the Team started in 2015 the Eagles have quickly become one of the top basketball programs in the USA.

The Eagles have attracted recruits from all over the work including: UK, France, Italy, Norway, Denmark, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, China, Japan,Brazil, Botswana,British Virgin Islands and all over the United States.

The support in the community is growing for the Eagles and they have received a lot of attention locally from news outlets. In the 2016 season the Eagles switched their home venue to Floyd L. Maines Memorial Arena in downtown Binghamton. On January 28th, 2018 the Eagles set a new home attendance record of 1,007 fans.
